Ocean Edge Motel

Great place to stay. It's not top shelf but that isn't for everyone. If you like low-key, not overly crowded it's the best. It's clean and maintained. Every room we saw the staff cleaning, the bedspread came out too! They seem to wash them after each guest. Friendly staff. I would definitely stay again.

We've been staying at this hotel for the last 4 years in October. It's an older building, but it's fairly clean. The beach view is priceless. I love sitting on the balcony listening to the ocean and enjoying the sun. It's a no frills hotel, but has everything you would "need." The beds are a bit uncomfortable, but we're here for the beach view and easy access. The prices are extremely reasonable for a beach front. The kitchen is well stocked for in room cooking. An older hotel turned into condo like rooms with stove, refrigerator, sink, dishes, etc. We love it here.

Our room was great. Clean spacious, kitchen well stocked. We lived in it for our vacation week with wonderful comfort. The pool was relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nothing beats the sunrise view from your oceanfront balconies. We stayed an extra night and reserved to return in June. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

My husband and kids stayed here over the weekend and we LOVED it! My 2 year old REALLY enjoyed the 1ft kiddie pool. He did not want to leave the pool. It’s so nice being able to walk out back and down to the the ocean from our room. The room was so clean. The owners and front desk workers were so nice. I GREATLY enjoyed it and this is where we will be staying every time we visit Myrtle Beach. We are so grateful to find a nice family owned motel that made our stay easier and that my kids enjoyed that was clean! we can NOT wait until our next vacation. Thanks for the experience.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay here. Beach front motel, in good repair and very clean. Our room had a full kitchenette - stove, sink, full size refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, which suited us, since we don't like to eat out every meal. Stayed in May at a very reasonable price for ocean front. Will definitely come back.

The view is amazing, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and very well kept up it is an older hotel nothing fancy but definitely serves its purpose. It's very peaceful at night sitting on the balcony listening to the ocean at night was exactly what I needed. The parking lot is a little tight when they are fully booked but nothing that's to difficult unless you are driving a big SUV.

Great little hotel! Love the small feel that this hotels has. The lady I spoke with on the phone when I made reservations was so helpful and kind. When we checked in our original assigned room wasn't ready so they up graded us to a room with a kitchen instead of making us wait. The room was very clean and no unpleasant smells were noted. The view is amazing right on the beach!! Just beautiful! The pool area was clean and the water temperature was perfect not too cold not too hot. Because it is a smaller hotel the pool area wasn't crowded. The pictures are pretty accurate. Overall great experience...we will come back!
